+ POOL × Water Science Field Guide
The + POOL Water Science Field Guide is a community-centered communication design project developed in partnership with + POOL to foster environmental awareness and water stewardship among young New Yorkers.
Developed through field research, workshops, and public engagement, the project translates complex water systems into an accessible, mission-based learning experience. The resulting field guide, Bella’s Water Missions, uses character-led storytelling and hands-on activities to help children (ages 8-10) explore water science, understand conservation, and build meaningful connections with New York City’s waterways.
